I’ll tell you what, I am really getting into the spirit of Autumn. I have been trying out new makeup looks pretty much every day and I am just having fun experimenting with new products and looks! This one I had to share with you as it features a very pretty smokey eye which is super appropriate for day or night looks and is super easy. It’s a mix of warm and cool tones but is not too out there or colourful! Not to mention that famous berry lip to top it off. The best part of this makeup look? You can wear any lip colour you desire.. me being me I went for that plumy red shade, but if you want to go for a more natural nude then this look will still look gorgeous!
I don’t want to sound repetitive, but this foundation is just the best! I started with the shock horror that is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. This foundation for me, is best blended out with the Real Techniques Stipling Brush. It gives the nicest finish!
For concealer I went ahead and used my Rimmel Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer. Applying this.. well everywhere. Under the eyes, forehead, nose and chin. I then set this in place with my Max Factor Creme Puff Pressed Powder.
I love a good contour, so I doubled up on it today. Starting with the Max Factor Pan Stik to bronze/contour, I then went in with the Maybelline Master Sculpt and chiseled out those cheekbones not forgetting to pop some highlighter on the high points of my face.
The chosen blush today was the Essence Silky Touch Blush. I adore these blushes as they have the perfect amount of sheen to them without being too sparkly. They are super pigmented though so I have to be careful when applying them!
So I used all Makeup Revolution Eye Shadows to achieve this look as they are amazing quality for such a small price! I started with the Ultra Matte Palette and added some rich, warm tones into my crease. I started by mixing the shades Muse and Leather to create a rich warm brown shade through my crease. I then started deepening the socket with a mix of Taupe, Olden, Rosewood, and Warm. I just kept dipping my brush in these shades until my crease was warmed to perfection. I then took the shade Olden under my lower lash line. For the lid I moved onto the I Heart Sin palette and took the shade Bad Habbit. This colour is a gorgeous deep grey shade. All of the shadows used for this eye look were mattes which also makes this perfect for hooded eyes!
Taking some of the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Kajal Nude Eyeliner through my water line, I then finished this eye look with some Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara.
Of course, to complete this fall look I opted for a berry/plum shade. I tried something new out today however! I mixed two MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquers together in the shades Kooky and Reckless. A red and a purple shade! Surprisingly, this colour came out beautifully! Very similar to my favourite L’Oreal shade! Although being liquid lipsticks these will last a whole lot longer and dry completely matte on my lips.
After a little while I decided to add a little something over the top to stop the dryness, and I opted for that favourite L’Oreal lipstick once again! Mon Jules my ole’ friend! This colour matched perfectly but just gave my lips that bit of moisture!
