Boy o boy am I slacking this month! I have been so busy starting my new job and having no time that I completely forgot about my November favourites! Better late than never is what I say however, as I have been loving so many things in the past month, I couldn’t not share them with you! I also planned on getting this post up last night, but since my camera decided that he didn’t want me to keep the photos I took for this, I had to wait until today to take some new snaps! So here we go, my very belated November favourites…
Mac 217 Blending Brush
So my first favourite for the month of November is the Mac 217! I received this for my birthday and it truly is one of the nicest blending brushes I have ever used. There is not really much to say about this brush in all fairness.. it blends your eye shadows beautifully, and I reach for this everyday without fail! Love!
B. Makeup Brush Cleaner
Since I desperately needed a new brush cleaner, I picked this on up as an early birthday present to myself last month! I have been loving this however as it is so quick and easy. You simply spray a couple of pumps on a cotton pad, swirl your brush in it and within seconds your brush is clean. The best part is that you don’t have to wait hours for your brushes to dry either.. give them five minutes and they will be good to go. This is perfect for spot cleaning your brushes and it doesn’t leave that oily film on your brushes after! This is some good stuff!
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
It is no secret that I have loved this foundation ever since I laid my eyes on it. Recently however I have been going through a foundation craze and I have tried a whole new load of foundations. Even though I have found a couple that I really love, I have also started using this one again and reminded myself just how much I love it! I needed to give it a little bit more love, the other foundations can wait another month!
Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer
Due to the high amount of concealer I own, I tend to reach for a different one on a daily basis. I decided earlier on in the month that I would wear this one for the day, and completely fell in love with it all over again. It’s creamy, blendable and it gives off amazing coverage whilst looking natural and dewy on the under eye area. It makes my under eyes look healthy. Since that day, I have used it everyday since and yesterday I finished the tube. You best believe I had a mini breakdown! To Boots I go!
Benefit They’re Real Tinted Primer
I can’t stop using this damn primer. I literally reach for it everyday. I explained in my go-to glam everyday makeup routine why I love this mascara so much. It just gives me the length, separation and perfect base for me to apply my mascara on. Literally any mascara looks good over this primer and I will be buying a full sized tube once I start getting paid again! In my opinion, this primer works best with my next favourite..
Clinique High Impact Mascara
This is by far my favourite mascara at the moment. This guy packs a whole load of volume, length and pretty much everything you need to give fluttery full lashes. I am in love! And yes, I will be buying a full size tube of this one too!
Motherhome Contour Kit
I love the little cheap gems you can find off eBay. This is the first of two I have in this months favourites! I also mentioned this one in last months favourites too. The highlighting powders, as you can see, are well loved! They set my concealer beautifully without looking cakey or too powdery. As for the contour shade, it is just perfect. It can be built up or applied lightly and it blends like a dream. I tend to use the deeper shade for my brows on days when I am in a rush. It works wonders and for 99p this palette is well worth its pennies!
Matte Eye Shadow Palette
Another eBay gem! Hello you warm toned matte beauties! This fifteen pan palette is my new obsession when it comes to eye shadows. I picked this up for a couple of pounds, and I couldn’t believe how good these are for the price I paid. They are very buttery and pigmented and they blend really well. If there was one thing that wasn’t so good, it would be that some of these shadows too dark. There’s not many light transition shades, but I have found that if you apply your shadows then use a dense blending brush with that stark white shadow, it lightens everything up whilst looking natural and in tact. Great little palette!
Rimmel Stay Matte Primer
I haven’t really gotten into a good order with this months favourites! Usually I order my favourites by what I would apply first, but this time it is all over the place.. I do apologise! Luckily for me I have another tube of this primer as again, I have just run out! I mentioned recently that my skin has started producing oil out of nowhere and throughout the day I can start to look quite oily especially in my T zone. This guy has sorted that out for me, and I have been using this everyday! I haven’t tried many mattifying primers as I have never needed too, but so far I really like this one, and I will be trying out some more for sure!
Essence XXXL Nude Lipgloss
Since I have recently been loving lip glosses more, this one has been my go to everyday! It doesn’t cling to any lines or dry patches on my lips, it gives the perfect amount of shine, and for a gloss it stays put longer than I anticipated. I really love this lip gloss and I will continue to use it as it is so lovely!
Batiste Light & Breezy Fresh Dry Shampoo
I love the batiste dry shampoos! Some however I can find leave my hair with a horrific texture. This one is my new favourite however. It leaves my hair shiny and smooth whilst still making my hair feel nice and refreshed. It smells so nice and clean and I have been obsessed with this little guy for the last month also!
So there we have it folks, my November favourites!
Do you love any of these products? What did you love for the past month?
Until next time my loves,
