Who is keeping up their rep as the worst beauty blogger? Oh yeah, that would be me! I may be a whole eight days late for this post, but I couldn’t simply skip a monthly favourites! I think favourites are one of my favourite posts to write as they are so chilled, and I can just sit down and talk about products that I have been loving. Spreading the positivity and all! So this month will be no different, just a little l ate…
New Look Pure Colour Baked Highlighter
This is not the first time that I have talked about this highlighter and it won’t be the last. This baked highlighter is perfect for anyone who is as fair as I am. It has the perfect amount of pink tones without being too pink yet it isn’t too icy/frosty for it to be unwearable. You can play it up or down depending on what look you are going for and it is just the prettiest affordable highlighter. I love using this either as a strong highlight on my cheekbones, or I will take a very sheer fluffy brush and dust this over my face for a natural glow. It’s so pretty.
Barry M Dazzle Bronzer
I believe that this bronzer is quite an oldie but my goodness is it a goodie! I also have a feeling that this bronzer may have been discontinued because I couldn’t find it anywhere online or in stores to purchase, I actually ended up buying this second hand. This bronzer has such the perfect tone for fair skin. It isn’t so warm that it looks muddy and even though it looks dark in the pan, it applies almost sheer so that you don’t over do it. It is such a beautiful bronzer and I love the slight sheen it has.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I am going to keep this real simple. The BEST mascara I have ever used. If you want massive, full, fluttery lashes.. look no further. This stuff is amazing! You hear people talking about it and saying how great it is, but until you actually try it, you never realise just how flipping amazing this mascara is.
Maybelline The Matte Maker Pressed Powder
I go through phases with powders. You may have noticed my recent obsession with my Rimmel loose powder, but recently I have gravitated back to the first ever powder I used when getting into makeup. Even still, I love it. It is super matte, but it is actually a powder that is light enough for me. It lasts a really long time and just looks so flawless. I really love this powder.
No7 Instant Illusions Radiance Balm
This next item is one of my most used this month I believe. I love to wear this with or without makeup for a radiant glow. It looks amazing underneath foundation or even mixed in but it isn’t too intense. It simply makes you look healthy. What I love most about this balm is that it is super hydrating and it is very peach in colour with puple/pink reflects. The peach is great for brightening up the complexion and correcting darkness, and the pinky glow is so great for fair skin tones.
Makeup Geek Grand Stand Eye Shadow
My final favourite for this month is this eye shadow by Makeup Geek. I have been a little bit obsessed with this eye shadow since I bought it. It is the perfect warm/taupe/copper shade that compliments my eye colour. It is a foiled eye shadow so it is super sparkly and creamy, yet I can blend this out to be the prettiest wash of colour over my eyes. I simply love this eye shadow and they are so affordable!
What are your favourites? Have you tried any of the above products?
Until next time my lovelies,
