Well guess who’s a little late to the party? Who me? Never! Why is it that I can never seem to get my favourites up on time, this isn’t the latest I’ve ever been but it’s still not good enough! This months favourites are lacking quite a bit. Even though I bought loads of new products that I have been loving, I haven’t owned them or used them long enough for them to be classed as ‘favourites’ although I am sure that you will be seeing them next month when I have tried them out a little more! This month how ever I do have just a few little gems to share with you…
Revlon Colour Stay Foundation
I made it so clear that the first time I tried this foundation I didn’t like it, not at all. Maybe it was because it was too heavy for me at the time (this was the first foundation I ever owned) and I just didn’t know how to work with it, or maybe it was my poor colour match. This time round however I have been loving this foundation! It is smooth, flawless, good coverage and actually matches my skin tone! It is so nice to have a pale foundation that has yellow undertones rather than pink! Hallelujah! So this one has been my go to pretty much since I owned it!
Collection Speedy Highlight Stick
This year has definitely been the year of the glow, and I love a good glow! As much as I love my powder highlights, some days when I am not wearing as much makeup I like something a little more natural. It’s either natural or I layer it with my powder highlights for more intensity! I love this highlight stick as it is the perfect undertone and it is so creamy and blendable. It is so flawless and natural, no big chunks of glitter just a beautiful sheen!
Urban Decay Naked Weightless Skin Concealer
They say you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone, well I certainly realised the true meaning of this when I ran out of my favourite concealer last month! I had been longing for pay day just so I could replenish this little baby. This is by far my all time favourite concealer, it really is as good as everyone says it is. If you haven’t tried it then… just try it! It is so damn good!
Mac Honey Love Lipstick
Mac matte lipsticks are my favourite formulas of all time when it comes to lipsticks. I love my velvet teddy, but I have been looking for a bit of a better suited nude to my pale skin. This lipstick is perfection. I absolutely love the colour, the undertone, the texture. It is slightly creamier than my other mattes, but it is absolutely gorgeous and I cannot believe it took me this long to find it!
Wilko Makeup Brushes
I hauled these brushes not so long ago and not put them down since. I purchased these synthetic makeup brushes as they feel so luxurious and soft, and they didn’t disappoint. These three makeup brushes are my favourite. From the left: This stippling brush has soon become my new favourite foundation brush. I am die hard for makeup sponges and use them for everything as they are most flawless, but this brush is starting to take over my foundation game. The next brush is the blusher brush, which I use for everything from powder, blush, contour, bronzer.. anything I can! It is so feathery soft and isn’t too densely packed so it just blends product out amazingly. Plus the angle is everything! The final brush is the powder brush. This powder brush is incredible. It is so densely packed that you can use it to apply powder, or if you feel you have slightly overdone your bronzer or maybe your blush, you can simply buff away the makeup with this brush without it disturbing any of your makeup, it just softens everything and I find myself using this brush everytime I do my makeup! They are incredible, I just wish they had a bigger range!
There we have my June Favourites! Like I mentioned, there are not so many this month, but these products have been my saving grace.
Have you tried any of these items? Did they make it into your favourites?
Until next time,
