I have another Autumn makeup look! This one is possibly the most edgy and vampy look I have created so far, but I wanted to add a pop of colour to switch things up. This look is so so easy to create, but looks like you have spent so much time putting your face on. I have a whole post dedicated to my Autumn Face Routine, which you can find right here, but otherwise let’s get onto the look…
For the eyes, I used my all time favourite eye shadow palette, The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I love using this eye shadow palette as I get slapped in the face with that chocolate sent! So good! To begin with I used the shade White Chocolate, a matte cream shade and I used this to set my base so that all the shadows blend easier, which means you have less work to do!
I wanted to keep this look more on the cool side, so I went straight into using the shade Milk Chocolate which is a matte mid toned brown.. just like milk chocolate! I started applying this lightly through the crease to act as a transition, then I started to build it up more on the outer corners. I also applied this lightly on my lower lash line and joined it with my crease. This look can easily be left with just that first shade, but I took a little bit of Semi Sweet and applied it just on my outer corner and blended it along my lower lash line too just to add a little more definition. For the lid I took the shade Hazelnut which is one of my favourite shades in this palette. It is a gorgeous bronze/taupe/brown shimmery shade which will look good on literally every single skin tone.
I wanted to add a pop of colour to my waterline, just to stop everything looking so bland and mono toned, as I was doing a very cool toned lip too. The colour I chose was very bold and out there, but I was quite tactical and used a bright neon orange to make my eyes pop. Orange and blue are complimentary colours so this look can be easily adapted to make other eye colours pop. For green eyes you can use a purple liner, or for brown eyes you can use a navy shade. I wanted to try something different for a change so as I don’t actually own any bright neon orange eye liners, I used my Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner – 104 Call Me Crazy. Surprisingly, these lip liners work amazing for the waterline! This stayed in my waterline all bloody day and didn’t budge once! I am so impressed!
For my eyelashes I tried a new mascara which I am actually really liking. I used the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara which I have had for ages but never actually tried. I really like this however, I applied it to both my top and bottom lashes and moved onto lips….
I wanted to keep the lips very cool toned but still vampy and fall appropriate. I used the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick – Posh Spice as I am in love with this product and I can’t get enough.
I hope you enjoyed this look, it is so out of my comfort zone but so simple to achieve!
Until next time,
